Before I created Beyond The Bridges, 10 years ago now, I had a successful channel and created the two Awesomeland documentaries embedded below. Awesomeland was similar to what I am doing with BTB. It was about epic lifestyle content with a positive bent. However, it was in the world of extreme mountain biking. The effort of producing that channel led to the opportunity to produce these two documentaries.
2010 - Women Of Dirt - 60 Min Featured Documentary
Awesome Land: Women Of Dirt is a unique look into the world of Downhill Racing, Dirt Jumping and Freeriding. This film looks through the eyes of the wondrous women that have helped grow the sport of Gravity Mountain Biking with their strength and courage. Awesome Land: Women Of Dirt celebrates the mountain bike while celebrating the women who love them. A beautiful and energetic film that opens a window into an awesome world.
2012 - If She Can Do It - 30 Min YouTube Documentary
If She Can Do It was filmed in July of 2012 at the Sugar Showdown, a women's freeride mountain bike event held at Duthie Hill Park in Issaquah, Wash. The event was hosted by Kat Sweet of Sweetlines. The Documentary was produced by Mark Brent and Kat Sweet. If She Can Do It tells the story of progression in freeride mountain biking through the eyes of the women coming into the sport.
